For this trip, we explored Big Bend National Park, Rio Grande Wild & Scenic River, Fort Davis National Historic Site, Guadalupe Mountains National Park, Carlsbad Caverns National Park, and White Sands National Park. We made several other stops along the way too!
Day 1
On our way from Big Bend National Park, we checked out Fort Davis National Historic Site. We didn’t have a lot of time but we were able to walk around for about an hour. The site has some original structures as well as some that have undergone refurbishment.
Once we were done exploring, we continued our journey to Guadalupe Mountains National Park.
